Virtus 2021 Toscana IGT
Virtus 2021 has a brilliant ruby red colour. The nose impresses with great complexity: notes of red fruit, strawberry and pomegranate, slight vanilla nuances make the nose persuasive and satisfying.
Slight toasty notes peep out and each passing minute allows the wine to open up more and more making the experience a true kaleidoscope of sensations.
In the mouth it is elegant, perfectly balanced, the freshness is perfectly integrated with the silky tannin that brings the tasting experience to intense and rich sensations.
The finish is long, persistent and very satisfying.
After the first glass you will see that more will follow, freshness and drinkability are the cornerstones of Virtus 2021.
Grapes
80% Sangiovese 15% Merlot
5% Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested separately, the harvest is carried out strictly by hand.
Separate vinification of the 3 varieties with subsequent passage in wood as follows.
The Sangiovese matures for 18 months in large oak barrels.
The Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon age for 12 months in medium-toasted Quintessence and Baron barriques.
